Dr. McCarthy is a graduate of The Ohio State Univeristy. She received her Masters Degree from the College of William and Mary. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. McCarthy completed her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has accumulated many post-graduate hours in work with children, adolescents and families. She has also worked extensively with patients of all ages and their families in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety and depression.
